City Centre Safety - Dec 2024-Jan 2025
Derby Youth Alliance are supporting Derby City Council’s reapplication for 🟣Purple Flag status🟣 which will be submitted towards the end of January. We are seeking young people’s opinions and experiences of safety within the city centre to ensure young people’s voices are heard, and where there are concerns or suggestions raised these are acted upon.
We have created a very short survey to gather the experiences and opinions of young people around how safe they feel in the City Centre.

Community Action Derby are working in partnership with NHS Derby and Derbyshire ICB and Links CVS to learn more about women’s health. Ultimately the aim is to improve access to information and services around women’s health.
A survey has been launched for any woman+ or girl+ across the city and county, asking questions about:
👉 What women know about women’s health issues.
👉 Women's experiences with health services around women's health.
👉 How women prefer to access health services and get information.
👉 How women prefer to communicate about their health issues and available health services.

IOPC Youth Panel Survey - 2024
The IOPC Youth Panel is excited to announce this years’ IOPC Youth Panel survey on policing and the police complaints system!

The IOPC Youth Panel is dedicated to identifying solutions to increase young people’s trust and confidence in policing and the police complaints system. It is made up of 38 members aged 16-25 from diverse communities all across England and Wales.
We are here to listen to other young people across the country. As part of this we co-design, distribute and analyse the IOPC Youth Panel survey every year, with a following report on our key findings and recommendations to police and the IOPC (who oversee the police complaints system). It’s a great opportunity for young people to have their voice heard on a national scale, and by senior leaders. This year we are developing our national influence to ensure our recommendations are heard and implemented.
