What does being a part of the Youth Alliance mean to you?

Writer's picture: AdminAdmin

As part of our 2022/23 Youth Alliance Evaluation, members of the steering group reflected on what it has meant to them and their organisations to be a part of the Youth Alliance so far, and what they hope to achieve going forwards as part of such a strong collaborative working group!

As part of National Youth Work Week 2023, it is important to highlight the commitment shown by these organisations who work so hard to support children and young people in Derby City to live a healthy, safe and prosperous life despite the obstacles and challenges they may face.

We are, of course, ever grateful for the support from our funding partners, so thanks go to Derby Homes and Derby City Council for the ongoing support, and to MTVH for their contribution. This allows us to continue and fine tune our existing support offer as well as being more proactive in identifying the needs across the city. We were also delighted to acquire funding from the Shared Prosperity Fund. This invaluable funding support will enable the Youth Alliance to enhance referral service provision, deliver new projects and offer training, to add to, develop and upskill the workforce.
