We had a great time at our Youth Alliance / Children and Young People’s Network Meeting this morning.
Déda (the centre for dance, movement and creativity) hosted us, and so of course there was some dance and creative movement involved!
We learned all about Déda and Derby Feste (this year's programme sounds fabulous!) And the opportunities available for children and young people to get involved.
We also had a presentation by Tim Rosier from University of Derby, about engagement opportunities with the Social and Community Studies department.
Thank you to Déda and Tim, and to everyone who attended! It was a great turn out, we hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did.
The next meeting will be held on Thursday 7 September 2023, 10am-12pm.
